Each licensee shall complete a minimum of sixteen (10) hours of Continuing Education which shall include, at minimum, all of the following subjects as they relate to the practice of cosmetology:

• HIV/AIDS (1 Hour)
• State (Florida) and Federal Laws Pertaining to Cosmetology (2 Hours)
• Sanitization and Sterilization (3 Hours)
• Chemical Makeup of hair, skin, and nails (1 Hour)
• Environmental Issues/ Indoor Air Quality (1 Hour)
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration Regulations (.5 Hours)
• Workers’ Compensation (.5 Hours)
• Skin Care Products Basics (1 Hour)
